This isn't to worship or glorify gangs. This site is just to give information on some of the big gangs in the United States. This site doesn't promote gang violence or gang membership. Thank-you.

Street gangs have been around for ages. Mostly formed for means of protection against other threatening groups. Bloods and Crips are two of the biggest and most well-know African-American street gangs out there. But this site is dedicated to Latino gangs, with a smattering of other gangs around.

Since the mid- to late-1900's, street gangs have been around. Threatening innocent people, killing each other, and sometimes creating a fake haven for those who feel as if they don't belong. Yes, it is true that gangs can give a false sense of security and can make anyone feel welcome, but that can all change when one makes a wrong move or when one gets in trouble with the law. Gang members have a tendency to vanish when the "po-po's" are involved. Mostly created for protection, street gangs have become popular, organized, and dangerous.
